AZERBAIJAN MEDIA DELEGATION'S VISIT
On September 7, 2020, Azerbaijan Media Delegation headed by Vice President Hikmet HACIYEV visited TİAK, which is coordinated by the Presidency of Turkey Directorate of Communications. During this visit, the delegation received information about TİAK and its Television Audience Measurement System in Turkey.
Following this visit, the Chairman of Azerbaijan's National Television & Radio Council (MTRŞ) İsmət Səttarov invited the TİAK delegation to Azerbaijan and requested support in transferring Turkey's experience in measurement to the Azerbaijan television industry.
Consequently, on 12-17 July, TİAK A.Ş. General Manager Dursun GÜLERYÜZ, Head of Technical Committee Ogün Doğan AKYOL and Technical Committee Member Önder ZOBAR traveled to Baku.
As part of the program prepared by MTRŞ, the leading TV channels in Azerbaijan were visited, and a general meeting was organized with the participation of all stakeholders, especially broadcasting companies.
During the meeting, the structure of TİAK, the stakeholders of the Turkish Measurement System, the systematics of the current Measurement system and TIAK's experience in establishing and coordinating the measurement system in Turkey were shared with participants. Besides, questions from the participants were answered.
In the following days, TV channels were visited as organized by MTRŞ, and one-on-one meetings were held with the General Managers and Officials of the channels. The delegation also took part in various TV broadcasts on some channels.
