Time-Shifted Audience Measurement Event
The test stages were completed for Time-Shifted Viewing, which was addressed as part of the New Term activities that commenced in September 2017 and will move to the reporting stage in the first quarter of 2018, and an event took place on September 21, 2017 under the title of TIME-SHIFTED AUDIENCE MEASUREMENT to share the developments with the entire industry.

Described as an interim briefing, the event hosted around 140 attendees, including the Representatives of Broadcasting Corporations, Media Planning Agencies and Advertisers. 
Commenced by a speech delivered by Mr. Ahmet PURA, the President of Advertisers Association, the event marked sessions where Kantar Media executives shared detailed information on the current state of affairs and standards to be implemented with Time-Shifted Audience Measurement considering the actions taken during the test process of six months.

The main titles of presentations were as follows:
  • What is Time-Shifted Viewing?
  • Dynamics of Time-Shifted Audience Measurement
  • Reporting Dynamics of Time-Shifted Viewing
  • Examples of Other Countries Completed the Measurement Process
The questions of participants were answered at the end of the event.

In addition, the measurement results as to Time-Shifted Viewings made by the current panel houses in the testing process were also shared during the presentations as an example (data such as houses and people performing Time-Shifted Viewing, Panelist Profiles performing Time-Shifted Viewing Periods, etc.).
